Background:

    In 2005, a project was launched to increase production capacity of both finished liners for diesel applications and “Cast -in” cylinder liners for automobile gasoline engines.

    This project increased ZYNP’s production capacity to 22 million liners annually maintaining our #1 ranking as a cylinder liner manufacturer in China and Asia. ZYNP’s production capacity for 2008 is projected to exceed 38 million liners annually.

    In 2005, GKN Zhongyuan Cylinder liner Company Ltd /GKNZY was established as a joint venture between ZYNP and GKN, a Fortune 500 Company; GKNZY commenced operations in March of 2006 and primarily produces cylinder liners for large bore engines such as high horse power engines and commercial marine applications.
